The Nelson Arms Farnham

The Nelson Arms Tavern is a unique 17th Century pub set in Farnham’s historic Castle Street, offering a range of local and national ales, fine wines, hearty home cooked food, and a warm atmosphere throughout the year.

The Nelson Arms Tavern, the oldest active pub in Farnham and the closest to Farnham Castle, is over 400 years old and offers traditional beams, open fires and old world charm. Our menus offer a balance of lighter lunch options, winter warmers, and traditional Sunday roasts - featuring local produce, fish, game, vegitarian choices & pub classics. Dishes include; Game & Red Wine Pie, Fillets of Sea Bass, Duck Breast, Vegetarian Tart's and Risotto's, our famous Nelson Burger & our ever popular Nelson Pie. Dishes change on daily & weekly basis and we are happy to accommodate any special dietary requests.

We've sourced a collection of quality & fine wines that are available by the bottle, with five of the reds, five whites, two rosé wines, two sparkling wines, and a Champagne available by the glass. The Tavern serves four Real Ales that have included; Timothy Taylor's Landlord Bitter, Black Sheep, Enville, Moondance, Nelson's Powder Monkey, London Pride, and Hob Goblin. Our ever present supplies of Guinness, Fosters, and Kronenbourg are on tap, with Peroni, Sol, and Bulmers available by the bottle.

This great meeting place has a relaxed feel and has the ability to cater for larger groups and special occasions... so do come and enjoy some good food or just a drink at the Nelson Arms in the centre of Farnham sometime soon.
