The Nelson Arms Farnham

The Nelson Arms Tavern is a unique 17th Century pub set in Farnham’s historic Castle Street, offering a range of local and national ales, fine wines, hearty home cooked food and a warm atmosphere throughout the year.


The Nelson Arms Tavern, one of the oldest pubs in Farnham and the closest to Farnham Castle, is over 300 years old and offers traditional beams, open fires and old world charm. The Tavern serves real Ales, specialising in beers from the local Hogs Back Brewery alongside Guest Ales which have included; Black Sheep, Enville and Hob Goblin.

We offer Lunch & Evenings menus that feature local produce, fish, game, lighter bites & pub classics. Dishes include; Wood Pigeon, Faggots, Game Hotpot & Roast Pheasant. Dishes change on daily & weekly basis.

The menus offer a balance of lighter lunch options, winter warmers and traditional Sunday roasts. We are happy to accommodate any special dietary requests.

A collection of good quality & fine wines have been selected, including five reds, five whites, two rose and two sparkling and Champagne are available by the glass.
